There are a number of musical instruments children can learn to play at Chase Side Primary.
All children have specific Music lessons taught by an additional teacher from Reception to Year 6, we use the Charanga scheme to do this as it uses a wide range of music styles, please see the ‘Music Intent’ document for more information.
In Year 4, all children are taught the ukulele by specialist teachers; children are then given the opportunity to continue learning the instrument.
These include instruments such as the violin, piano, keyboard, and guitar. Enfield Music Service arrange for specialist music teachers who provide individual or small group instrumental lessons for children in Year 2 upwards.
