Healthy Packed Lunch

We hold the Silver Healthy School’s mark, which means that we encourage the children to eat fruit based snack and drink lots of water.



Because of our Healthy School’s mark we also encourage healthy packed lunches.



According to NHS choices, a balanced lunchbox should contain:
  • Starchy foods like bread, rice, potatoes or pasta.
  • Protein foods like meat, fish, eggs or beans.
  • A dairy item, like cheese or yogurt.
  • Vegetables or salad and a portion of fruit.


We are also a nut free school which means no peanut butter, chocolate spread or any product containing nuts.
